People you can call by name.
Standard Bureau is a small operations, software, and AI firm. We work in Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, and Washington, DC, and with clients anywhere.

Clay Johnson
Clay has built software for nearly thirty years. He was lead programmer on Howard Dean's 2004 presidential campaign, co-founded Blue State Digital, and ran Sunlight Labs, where about 2,000 volunteers built tools on public data.
He wrote The Information Diet and served as a Presidential Innovation Fellow. At Standard Bureau he designs and builds the systems clients run on. He also leads Core Values Recovery, a recovery coaching company.

Dave Liloia
Dave is a product person who loves talking to people. He spent five years leading product at ConsumerAffairs, where he grew the review library from 4 million to 8 million reviews and built the tools brands use to answer reviews and settle complaints.
At Standard Bureau, Dave leads client relationships. If you book a call, you'll probably talk to him first. He grew up in Belleville, New Jersey.

Build
Agents draft, people review, and nothing goes live without your team's yes.
Run
We train your team, watch for errors, and keep it running.
What we put in writing.
Every agent needs a human. These rules hold on every project.
- 01Nothing touches your live system until someone on your team says yes.
- 02We build next to your old software and leave it running.
- 03Fixed scope and a written price. Half up front, half on delivery.
- 04If you don't need us, or don't need AI, we'll say so.
